Biography Chandrama Lynne Anderson, MFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT#45204) in private practice in Palo Alto, CA, and a California Board of Behavioral Sciences Approved CE Provider (PCE4294). Chandrama specializes in couples counseling and marriage counseling: working with couples to truly become partners.
Additionally, she invented Mapping Your Personality for self-transformation; a tool for clinicians and clients alike.
Chandrama earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Holistic Studies from John F. Kennedy University in 2005. Since 2006, Chandrama has continually advanced her training in couples counseling with Kathryn Ford, M.D. (a couples counselor for over 20 years) and attended the Evolution of Psychotherapy conference in 2009 to receive additional training from the world renowned couples experts and trainers Dr. John Gottman (The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work), Dr. Julie Gottman, Dr. Sue Johnson (Emotionally Focused Therapy or EFT), and Dr. Harville Hendrix (Imago).
Chandrama's work with couples combines her training in Attachment Theory, brain study, Family Systems, Jungian, and Somatic theories with an eclectic model of imagery-based and integrative therapies determined by client needs.
Chandrama is the former Director of Technology & Communications for the SCV-CAMFT Board (2008-2009), and is a member of California Therapists for Marriage Equality (CTME) and CAMFT.

In her previous career in high technology, Chandrama served in executive and management positions for such organizations as the Stanford Alumni Association and IDG Books (the "For Dummies" series). She is co-author of the Stanford Professional Education workbook "Building an eCommerce Website," and was an instructor/speaker for conferences including Women in Technology, Seybold Seminars, Stanford's "Publishing on the Web" and the "Conference on eCommerce."
